This will be the original price for my short film if i was going to pay for everything i needed in order to create my short film. In this case i wouldn't be needing to hire an editing room, or pay for my actors. I will only need to pay for transport and food which will cost around £25 and i would have to pay for props and make up which will also cost around £25. Th cameras i will be needing will be provided by my college , the equipment i need to set up the lighting will be provided by my college and the facilities i will need such as, a mac to edit my short film, will be provided by my college. Therefore my short film will actually cost around £50.

Research portfolio: Real world influence

The films that influenced me are blow

SAW influenced my idea because in the middle of this clip two men both wake up in place they don't know with their feet chained to and at the beginning of my short film is that three people wake up in the woods tied to a tree. The whole idea of the characters waking up in an unknown place is creepy within itself and being trapped by being chained to poles is intense, therefore i thought for my idea they could all be tied up not by chains but by ropes and they wake up in the middle of the woods. Also because its an open  ending therefore it always leaves the audience in shock and with a cliff hanger. This also shows that my short film will have a twist at the end that surprises the audience.
                - The reason why i highlighted this is because its important that i add a twist to my short film because it's the trends and it's a good to leave the audience shock by a surprise.  Because of this the short film will be more interesting because of the fact it will engage the audience's attention.

The nightmare Elm Street inspired me as well at 3.25 because Freddie Kruger killed people for his revenge and the demon in my short film kills the teenagers to get revenge on them killing him. Also the fact that you can't actually see him killing her gives off an possessed effect which i added into my short film to add more suspense. This also proves that i will be having flashbacks of the teenagers killing the man before he became a demon. -The reason why i highlighted this is because it's important to add flash forwards or flashbacks to show that my short film is non linear. Because of this the short film will be more interesting.

Final destination also influenced me because it had one person that could see what was going tp happen a couple min into the future and that everyone is going to die. In my short film one girl has this ability and that will allow me to have flash forwards in my short film. - The reason why i highlighted this is because it's important to add flash forwards or flashbacks to show that my short film is non linear. Because of this the short film will be more interesting.
